As of December 2nd, Jens Bergensten, or 'Jeb,' was appointed for the lead developer spot of Minecraft, confirmed by Marcus Person, often known Minecraft Maps as 'Notch,' (the previous lead developer and creator of Minecraft) that his co worker, Jeb, was taking over, via twitter. Jeb is a huge constant addition to Minecraft, . Jeb was alongside Notch as they added additions for the game including wolves, pistons and map structures. A quote from Notch stated that 'it would be a scary move, but I feel strangely confident' He's precisely what Minecraft needs today. He's much more mod friendly than I am, and that we have to embrace mods more."
